Character Questionnaire

You can now dedicate your personalized novel to the lucky recipient, as well as select from a variety of special messages! Type in the recipient's name exactly as you wish it to appear (40 characters or fewer), then the name of the gift giver (usually your own name). Finally, choose your dedication message from the drop-down box. (The default message is "All My Love." Don't want any? Choose "No Message.")

We personalize our paperback front covers and the first pages of our hard covers, and they look absolutely stunning! Just think of your personalized novel on the bookshelf or coffee table with your heroine and/or hero's name highlighted in big bold letters. Additionally, if you choose to have a photo added to the back cover for paperbacks and hardcover editions, the names selected will also be included on the back cover. With eBook editions the names will appear under the photo displayed on the second page of the book.

Of the choices in the drop-down menu (e.g. Heroine and Hero's first names, Heroine's first and last names, etc.), most people select the Heroine and Hero's first names.

Note: all names will be taken from the top sections of the Character Questionnaire (for example, the Heroine's first and last names).

Our heroine is a highly respected member of the Superhero Guild, dedicated to serving mankind with her talent of being able to communicate in all languages. She receives many proposals from low-ranking superheroes who would like to use her exalted Guild status to further their own careers. She is therefore suspicious of all romantic gestures and buries herself in her work. The biggest surprise of her life comes when she finds herself falling in love with a reluctant superhero who has been pushed into the Superhero Guild by his mother.

When entering the character's name, include the commonly used version - for example, Nan for Nancy. Feel free to use a nickname. If you can't think of a heroine, relax! Pick a movie or TV superhero star such as Halle Berry, Morena Baccarin, Jennifer Lawrence or Lynda Carter.

Descriptions of hair color, length and type are included within the storyline of the book - so select the basic description that best suits the person you've picked to be the heroine. If you are not sure of a feature, don't worry... pick one - it's a fantasy!

The heroine's friend is a young faun. She is the result of a mating between her satyr father and her mother, an inebriated human teenager at a late-night rave party on the banks of the Russian River. She is generally a self-centered drama queen but she does have the heroine's best interests at heart.

Suggestions for the "friend's" character would be a close friend or neighbor, a sister, a cousin, classmate, or even a TV character! If you can't think of a name for the 'friend' character in the book (or there are too many to select from) relax - choose a favorite cartoon, movie or television character or make one up.

Choose the commonly used first name for the person you have selected. For instance - if she is usually addressed as 'Beth' use that instead of Elizabeth.

Descriptions of the friend's hair and eye color aren't used often within the story, so don't worry if you can't remember or don't know. Sometimes it's fun to make it up - for added fun include 'spiky red hair'!

Our hero is honorable, honest and not arrogant at all despite his physical prowess. He does allow his mother to push for his career advancement in the Superhero Guild, and despite his desire to avoid her, he does try to be a good son. He is usually humble and reserved, but his playfulness and great sense of humor are brought out by the heroine during their encounters.

Pick a movie or TV star like Robert Downey Jr., Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson or George Clooney.
