First Bite has nineteen selections to personalize. The story involves two main characters: the brave heroine and the dangerous vampire hero as well as their loyal best friends.
You can now dedicate your personalized novel to the lucky recipient, as well as select from a variety of special messages! Type in the recipient's name exactly as you wish it to appear (40 characters or fewer), then the name of the gift giver (usually your own name). Finally, choose your dedication message from the drop-down box. (The default message is "Much Love." Don't want any? Choose "No Message.")
Our paperback editions are just like standard paperbacks, except infinitely better... they're personalized!

When entering the character's name, use the commonly used first name; for example, use Liz instead of Elizabeth if she is usually called Liz. Feel free to use a nickname.
If you can't think of a heroine, pick a film or TV star such as Kristen Stewart, Nina Dobrev, Jennifer Lopez, Melanie Diaz, or Billie Eilish! Or choose a fictional character such as Bella Swan, Elena Gilbert, Katniss Everdeen or Elizabeth Bennet ... the choices are endless!
Descriptions of hair color, length and type as well as eye color are included in the text of the book, so select the basic description that best suits the person you have picked to be the main character. If you are not sure of a feature, don't worry... pick one. It's a fantasy!

The friend in the story plays a fun and indispensable role: cajoling and supporting the heroine in all the ways best friends do! She's a party girl who can seem boy-crazy but always remains loyal and down-to-earth. She's concerned about the heroine's welfare when she suspects the new boyfriend might mean danger, and is even brave enough to confront the vampires in order to defend her best friend!
Suggestions for the friend character would be a close friend or neighbor, a sister, a cousin, classmate, or even a TV character! If you can't think of a name for the friend character (or there are too many to select from), choose a favorite cartoon, movie or television character or even make one up.

The hero's male friend in the story is a fellow vampire who's spent many, many years at the hero's side. A bit cynical, the friend doubts that a vampire and a mortal can have a real relationship. Unlike the hero, he prefers the 'night life' among their own kind. Despite his doubts, he supports the hero and even advises the heroine's best friend when it comes to getting the star-crossed lovers together.
