Character Questionnaire

You can now dedicate your personalized novel to the lucky recipient, as well as select from a variety of special messages! Type in the recipient's name exactly as you wish it to appear (40 characters or fewer), then the name of the gift giver (usually your own name). Finally, choose your dedication message from the drop-down box. (The default message is "Much Love." Don't want any? Choose "No Message.")

We personalize our paperback front covers and the first pages of our hard covers, and they look absolutely stunning! Just think of your personalized novel on the bookshelf or coffee table with your heroine and/or hero's name highlighted in big bold letters. Additionally, if you choose to have a photo added to the back cover for paperbacks and hardcover editions, the names selected will also be included on the back cover. With eBook editions the names will appear under the photo displayed on the second page of the book.

Our heroine is one of our two main characters, along with the hero. She is a quick-witted young adventurer living a reckless life of treasure-hunting and studying magic spells -- despite the fact that it's illegal. When she learns of a stolen gem, she persuades her friend to join her on a quest to retrieve the jewel and claim the reward. When they run into a young man -- a Water Mage -- who's searching for the same gem, they join forces. Soon our heroine's headstrong ways clash with the mage, whom she initially mistrusts and finds both controlling and hidebound (but also very, very hot). Slowly she learns to trust others, control her impulsive magic... and fall in love.

When entering the character's name, use the commonly used first name; for example, Liz instead of Elizabeth if she is usually called Liz. Feel free to use a nickname.

If you can't think of a heroine, pick a film or TV star such as Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Scalett Johansson or Billie Eilish! Or choose a fictional character such as Bella Swan, Katniss Everdeen or Elizabeth Bennet ... the choices are endless!

Descriptions of hair color, length and type as well as eye color are included in the text of the book, so select the basic description that best suits the person you have picked to be the main character. If you are not sure of a feature, don't worry... pick one. It's a fantasy!

Our heroine's best friend is a funny, street-smart girl who thinks on her feet -- and uses her nimble fingers for pick-pocketing! Despite her slippery behavior and sometimes iffy ethics, she's staunchly loyal and supports our heroine through the good times and bad.

Suggestions for the friend character would be a close friend or neighbor, a sister, a cousin, classmate, or even a TV character! If you can't think of a name for the friend in the book, or there are too many to select from, choose a favorite cartoon, movie or television character or make one up.
