Privacy is important to Book By You^®. We instruct our employees to keep your information private. We will not sell or rent your name or specific information regarding you to any third party. For purposes of providing you with quality service, informing you about new products or services, inquiring about your account status, or conducting business surveys, we collect and store information about our relationship with you, and we keep it private.

For each visitor to our web site, our web server automatically recognizes only the visitor's domain name, but not the visitor's e-mail address unless the visitor makes that available. We aggregate information about what pages visitors access and information that visitors volunteer such as survey or book preview information. We may use the information we collect to improve the content and layout of our web site, to notify visitors about updates, and make comparable improvements.

• Head and shoulders photo of the person(s) is best. Use a clear photo in which the face(s) are not obscured or in shadows.
• The maximum file size we can accept is 7 Mb, or resolution of 2200 x 1700 pixels or 300 dpi.
• Camera resolution settings of medium or normal are ideal. High resolution is generally too large and may exceed our 7 Mb file size limit.
• If your photo is in landscape format (horizontal) your picture on the back cover will be 3" wide by 2.25" tall. If it is portrait (vertical) your picture will be 1.8" wide by 2.25" tall.
• Do not upload lewd, or nude images or copyrighted material. Your book will not be printed.

For an extra $9.95, you can make your personalized Book By You^® novel even more special by adding a photograph to the back cover! For a limited time - this photo option is FREE for eBooks. Note that for eBooks, the photo is displayed on the second page after the cover image.

All you have to do is select the personalized book you wish to purchase and fill in the questionnaire, choosing the "add a custom photograph" option. Custom photographs can be placed on both our paperback or hardcover editions. Once you submit the questionnaire, you can then pick a photograph and upload it using our easy to use form.

An additional fee of only $9.95 will be added to your final total; no extra processing time is required. Best of all, when the book arrives your customized novel's back cover will beautifully display the image of the real star of the adventure -- whether it's you, your loved one or a friend!
