You can now dedicate your personalized novel to the lucky recipient, as well as select from a variety of special messages! Type in the recipient's name exactly as you wish it to appear (40 characters or fewer), then the name of the gift giver (usually your own name). An additional fee of only $9.95 will be added to your final total; no extra processing time is required. Best of all, when the book arrives your customized novel's back cover will beautifully display the image of the real star of the adventure -- whether it's you, your loved one or a friend!
We personalize our paperback front covers and the first pages of our hard covers, and they look absolutely stunning! Just think of your personalized novel on the bookshelf or coffee table with your heroine and/or hero's name highlighted in big bold letters. Additionally, if you choose to have a photo added to the back cover for paperbacks and hardcover editions, the names selected will also be included on the back cover. With eBook editions the names will appear under the photo displayed on the second page of the book.
Of the choices in the drop-down menu (e.g. Heroine and Hero's first names, Heroine's first and last names, etc.), most people select the Heroine and Hero's first names.
Note: all names will be taken from the top sections of the Character Questionnaire (for example, the Heroine's first and last names).
Our heroine is a smart, professional celebrity publicist whose life is dedicated to her work. She has often been accused of being a workaholic and even admits she may have an addiction when it comes to work-related technology. She is determined - to the point of stubbornness - to break through the hero's private nature. Our heroine is a multi-faceted woman who enjoys cars, football, and getting her job done.
When entering the character's name, include the commonly used version - for example, Nan for Nancy. Feel free to use a nickname. If you can't think of a heroine, relax! Pick a movie or TV star such as Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Amy Adams, Julia Roberts or Meryl Streep. Or, stick with the football scene if you'd prefer and pick a female announcer such as Suzy Kolber, Pam Olive, or Beth Mowins.
Descriptions of hair color, length and type are included within the storyline of the book - so select the basic description that best suits the person you've picked to be the heroine. If you are not sure of a feature, don't worry... pick one - it's a fantasy!
The heroine's friend in the story is an eccentric artist who travels the world on adventures and communicates with her best friend through Skype. She pushes our heroine to discover and try new things. She advises our publicist in all affairs of the heart, but cannot be expected to give serious work advice. She provides comic relief and is the yang to our heroine's yin.
Suggestions for the "friend's" character would be a close friend or neighbor, a sister, a cousin, classmate, or even a TV character! If you can't think of a name for the 'friend' character in the book (or there are too many to select from) relax - choose a favorite cartoon, movie or television character or make one up.
Choose the commonly used first name for the person you have selected. For instance - if she is usually addressed as 'Beth' use that instead of Elizabeth.
Descriptions of the friend's hair and eye color aren't used often within the story, so don't worry if you can't remember or don't know. Sometimes it's fun to make it up - for added fun include 'spiky red hair'!
Our hero is one of our two main characters, along with the heroine. He is an All-American star quarterback with a bad-boy image but with a heart of gold. At first our hero resists all interactions with his publicist, but soon he realizes he's setting up extra business dinners to spend more time with her. His quiet, private nature hides his humor and his big heart. His intelligence and drive make him the best football player he can be.
When entering the character's name, include the commonly used version - for example, Mike for Michael. Feel free to use a nickname. If you can't think of a hero, relax! Pick a movie or TV star like Robert Downey Jr., Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson or George Clooney. Or choose a football player you love - like Eli Manning or Tom Brady. You can even choose a fictional character.
Descriptions of hair color, length and type as well as eye color are included within the text of the book - so select the basic description that best suits the person you have picked to be the main character. If you are not sure of a feature, don't worry... pick one - it's a fantasy!!
The hero's male best friend in the story is a talented football player and a goofy, fun-loving, playful friend. His flirtatious nature is harmless, even when first directed towards the heroine. His involvement is instrumental to getting our stubborn hero and work-addicted heroine over themselves.
Suggestions for the "friend's" character would be a close friend or neighbor, a brother, a cousin, classmate, or even a TV character! If you can't think of a name for the 'friend' character in the book (or there are too many to select from) relax, choose a favorite cartoon, movie or television character or make one up.
Choose the commonly used first name for the person you have selected. For instance - if he is usually addressed as 'Bob' use that instead of Robert. Following football tradition, the best friend is often referred to by his last name by the hero.
Descriptions of the friend's hair and eye color aren't used often within the story, so don't worry if you can't remember or don't know.
